(a) नम्रता ने कोष्ठक में बन्द व्यंजकों में उसके बाहर लिखे अचर 3 से प्रत्येक पद में गुणा नहीं किया है जबकि सलमा ने कोष्ठक में बन्द दोनों पदों को 3 से गुणा किया है।
(b) नम्रता ने 2x का वर्ग सही नहीं किया है।
(c) नम्रता ने गुणा करते समय मध्य पद को छोड़ दिया है।
(d) व (e) में नम्रता ने सूत्रों का प्रयोग सही नहीं किया है।

हाँ, यह मोड़ एक सममित रेखा है, क्योंकि इस प्रकार बनी आकृति के दोनों भाग पूर्णतः समान हैं।

इसे खोलिए और पुनः एक बार चौड़ाई की ओर से समान तरीके से मोड़िए, क्या यह दूसरा मोड़ भी सममित रेखा है ? क्यों ?

उत्तर-
हाँ, दूसरा मोड़ भी सममित रेखा है। क्योंकि इसकी आकृति दो बराबर हिस्सों में बँट जाती है और दोनों हिस्से एक-दूसरे को पूर्णतः ढक लेते हैं।

(b) इस आकृति में केवल एक सममित रेखा है, जिसे ‘S’ द्वारा दर्शाया गया है।
